Erik Nitsche — General Dynamics

At last week's Typo London 2011, Michael Bierut in his talk, "The Only Important Decision" talked about his work for clients that helped define a sense of place ("places" being the theme of the conference, after all).

At one point he presented a stunning example of Erik Nitsche's posters for General Dynamics, created in the 1950/60s and inspiration for Pentagram's brand refresh for the company. Keen to find more of Nitsche's work, here are a few examples of further posters, that form only a small subset of the work he created for the engineering firm.
