Pick of the best from AOL Artists

Just spent an enjoyable 10 minutes browsing all the artists on the (very nicely designed) Aol Artists website.

Core to the Aol re-branding effort by Wolf Ollins was to create a platform for creatives to help re-generate the identity again and again with new, colourful work keeping it fresh and reinvigorating. This is goal for so many other corporates that have lost their way, but in my opinion none have been as successful as Aol in sustaining the original idea, presumably hand-held by Wolf Ollins along the way.

It's just a shame the company itself is rather unfocussed and struggling to identify and communicate what they are: they claim they deliver new content but their Yahoo-like portal homepage is just a mess.
